DESCRIZIONE:

On the 925/000 silver men's ring there is the reproduction of an ancient Greek helmet attributable to the Crotoniate hero Phayllos (Faillo) and inscriptions in the Achaean alphabet which bear a dedication to Zeus: "Meilichios" sweet as honey, taken from the middle of an anchor stock exhibited in the archaeological museum of Capocolonna di Crotone, dating back to the sixth century BC On the stem a texture that reproduces the stater of Crotone: the motif of the tripod, connoted as delphic due to the characterization of the feet in the shape of paw of a lion, recalls the myth of the foundation of the city of Crotone on the basis of a response given to the ecista Miscello with the indications of the place where the new city should have been built.
